Short CV: Dimitris Bourantonis is Professor of International and European Studies at the Department of International and European Εconomic Studies, Athens University of Εconomics and Business. He holds a Political Science Degree and a Law Degree from the University of Athens and a Ph.D from the University of Reading (UK). His research and publications concern analysis of international and European institutions, diplomacy, foreign policy and international history. Short CV: Yiannis Dendramis is an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department of the Athens University of Economics and Business. Prior to joining the Department of Economics he was a Marie Skłodowska Curie European research fellow, a lecturer at the department of accounting and finance of the University of Cyprus, a visiting lecturer and research fellow at the School of Economics and Finance of the Queen Mary University of London. He has also made extended research visits to the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and the Kings College, London. Currently he is Professor in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He was Visiting Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Computing at Brunel University in UK (1996-2004) and he also taught at London Business School. He teaches and researches in the areas of Management and Strategy of Information Systems, Electronic Commerce, Innovation and Business Development, Decision Support Systems. He has an extensive 25 years experience with R&D in Information and he has supervised successfully 13 PhD students in UK and Greece. Short CV: George Economides is currently a Professor of Economics at the School of Economic Sciences (Department of International and European Economic Studies) of the Athens University of Economics and Business. He was born in Athens in 1973. He holds a B.Sc. in International and European Economic Studies from Athens University of Economics and Business, a M.Sc. in Economics from University of York (UK) and a Ph.D. in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business. Former positions include Visiting Lecturer in Economics at the University of Cyprus (2001-2002). He is also Research Fellow at CESifo, Munich. His main research area is Macroeconomic Theory and Policy. Recently, the main focus of his research has been on the use of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models to study public sector reforms as well as the impact of climate change on economic policy design. He has published more than twenty-five articles in international academic journals, including Review of Economic Dynamics, Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory, Oxford Economic papers, Public Choice, International Tax and Public Finance, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Journal of Macroeconomics, European Journal of Political Economy and CESifo Economic Studies. He has co-authored three books among which ΄΄The Economics of Climate Change΄΄ and ΄΄A blueprint for exiting the crisis: A new model of production for Greece΄΄. He has also participated and presented his work at a big number of international conferences and has refereed articles for many international academic journals. Kritikos is Associate Professor of Operations Research and Information Systems at the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He received a B.Sc. in Mathematics and a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Operations Research, both from the University of Athens. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Management Science from Athens University of Economics and Business. Short CV: Dr Leda Panayotopoulou is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) at the Department of Marketing & Communication of the Athens University of Economics & Business. Short CV: I am an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of Management Science and Technology. I have over twenty years’ experience in teaching Management courses (i.e. Strategic Management and Innovation, Intro to Management, and Organization Theory) at both undergraduate and graduate (including Doctoral) levels. I have recently published a book (in Greek) entitled “Introduction to Innovation Management” used by the Hellenic Open University, where I also teach since 2004. My research revolves around strategy and innovation, and has been published in such journals as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Research Policy, Technovation, and R&D Management, among others. As of recently, I have received 629 citations in the ISI Web of Knowledge, 745 in Scopus, and more than 2550 in Google Scholar. I have served as occasional reviewer to Organization Studies, Scottish Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, European Journal of Information Systems, and the International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. I have been in the Editorial Board of Organization Studies up to 2008. In parallel to my teaching and research activities, I have participated as senior researcher in a number of large scale research projects, many of which have been financed by the EU and the Greek Secretariat of Research and Technology. I have accumulated significant experience in the design and implementation of large scale research, including data analysis using advanced statistical and econometric modeling methodologies, such as structural equation modeling, panel and choice models.
